This is what happens when you get so busy knitting for the olympics and "forget" for a few days to check the garden!Giant courgettes!
Patches was so impressed she "stalked" them before pouncing!
Not to mention the peas, beans, tomotoes! :)

So not even close to summer in Michigan...but that's the northern hemisphere for you. Do you need a recipe for zuchinni bread or anything?
Heh that would be cool!!!
We have tried a nice zuchinni and cheese pie and have yet to try the zuchinni fritters this weekend.
Not rubbing it in but have had a wonderful summer this year!! I will be bottling tomatoes for months. Hope this means you will get a good one as well!
I am procrastinating again - although my lacey scarf for the Knitting Olympics is underway at last. (Yeah, I started almost on time but then had three or four days of knitting, ripping it out, knitting, ripping it out, etc. etc..)
I would love to have your recipe for zuchinni and cheese pie - if you'd care to share that is. All I've ever made is zuchinni bread and fritters.
But not until after the closing ceremonies - I wouldn't want to distract you from the finish line.
And I think I am more north than Michigan (geography is not my strong point) so it will be some months before we can even plant anything.
